This week, we thought we’d look back at an absolutely gorgeous outdoor wedding that we provided our wedding styling items for, at the incredibly romantic Swinton Estate. This is one of our favourite luxury wedding venues in North Yorkshire!
Swinton park absolutely oozes historic charm, and was the perfect location for this beautiful outdoor wedding and sperry tent reception. The colour palette was very neutral and clean, and the timeless design we created perfectly encompassed the style of a modern luxury wedding.
Luckily, the English weather was behaving on this occasion, and the couple had an absolutely gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony against the dramatic backdrop of the venue. We lined the aisle with bell-bottomed hurricane vases, and simple white flower displays sat on our white plinths – timeless wedding perfection!
Following the outdoor ceremony, guests enjoyed their surroundings, and sipped on beautifully mixed fruit mocktails. We used our white panelled bar and French lounge seating, to create the most elegant outdoor drinks reception setting – it looks incredibly appealing, doesn’t it?!
For the reception, guests were seated in a fabulous sperry tent – one of our favourite styles of marquee! To complement the airy and light space that the marquee offered, the decor was very neutral and elegant too. Soft white drapes and twinkling festoon lights hung from the ceiling, and uplighters created a wash of colour as the night drew in. Spectacular white floral displays sat upon our tall fluted vases, and smaller posies were placed in our ribbed glass votives, creating movement and varying heights along the tables.
We loved the finishing touches which wedding planners The Angels Events put in place. Chiffon chair sashes softened the backs of the chairs, and sequinned tablecloths added a discreet sparkle to the tables. We love the luxurious gold rimmed glassware, beaded charger plates, and wooden calligraphy place names too. Such stunning attention to detail!
After dinner, guests had loads of fun helping themselves to donuts from our rustic donut wall, and toppings for their ice cream desserts!
