We were delighted to be asked to take part in an elegant, classically beautiful styled shoot at historic North Yorkshire wedding venue The Hawkhills, along with a team of other fabulous wedding suppliers. We’re so excited to share some stunning images by Stewart Barker Photography with you!
The Hawkhills is truly versatile. It boasts historic charm, luxurious onsite accommodation and idyllic grounds. To complement the surroundings, the colour palette was very fresh, clean and neutral, with lots of white, champagne and green tones. We love versatile and timeless designs like this, as they work with most venue settings and will look gorgeous in your wedding photo album for years to come.
The top table, with the beautiful backdrop of The Hawkhills’ fireplace, was adorned with thick, lush foliage and pure white blooms. Amongst this, our exquisite crystal candlesticks, antiqued silver votives and glass column lanterns twinkled with romantic flickering light. The stationery complemented this beautifully, with its understatedly chic grey colour palette and botanical-inspired design.

In the beautiful grounds of the venue, we set up our divine curved velvet lounge seating. Behind this, we hung our pretty art deco chandeliers from the trees to create a romantic backdrop for the couple’s portraits. For any wedding, a comfortable seating area for your guests to relax in is an absolute must!
Our bride was styled in a gorgeous contemporary yet classic bridal gown by York bridalwear designer Elena Ferrara, and wore a naturally beautiful make up look and vintage-inspired headpiece.

The cakes and sweet treats were created by multi award-winning cake designer Where The Ribbon Ends (who are based just down the road from us at Jervaulx Abbey)! We adore the attention to detail on this pure white wedding cake, which was so intricate. The hand-painted designs on the macarons (housed in our beautiful gold-framed glass boxes) and glittery cake pops were such a fun detail too!
