With the weather as glorious as it has been recently it would seem a shame to not throw a garden party, wouldn’t it? Here at Hire and Style we have the perfect solution for your afternoon BBQ, summer soiree, and children’s party; and that is exactly what we did earlier this month for one of our clients.

How clever, entertain different groups of friends, host a business drinks event and a children’s party in the same space, on the same weekend, one structure, two days and three events!

Make the most of your outside space with the insurance of cover protection, just in case! Let’s face it, in this country we are often faced with the weather either being too hot or the dread of an unexpected shower, therefore our solution starts off with a stretch tent, perfect for a cool and shady area in your garden.

For the structure pictured below we worked alongside a fabulous company called Ten By Fifteen Structures (Yorkshire), they provided a small stretch tent, 6m x 6m square, the perfect size for a pop-up party for 40 guests. We love working with their tents as they’re so adaptable and come in a huge range of sizes and colours. They link together to fit perfectly into almost any space and can even be attached directly to buildings – a perfect way to extend a party space! We then filled this with our gorgeous Rattan furniture, sofas, comfy armchairs and coffee tables. We also had our wooden pallet straight bar with Yorkshire Bartender staff serving beautifully presented champagne and gin & tonic’s to guests, because who doesn’t need a refreshment on a hot day?

We then added in some patio heaters, baskets full of cosy blankets, some party music, heaps of fairy lights and clusters of terrace lanterns grouped around the stretch tent and garden, freshly prepared yummy woodfired pizzas and lots of fizz all set for the fabulous evening party to begin.

Once Sunday came around the stretch tent was completely transformed into a childrens party, with our toadstool seating and matching tables for crafts, and our range of large coloured beanbags for chill out zones. Lawn games such as hoopla, boules and croquet were added to keep the older guests entertained. Then a host of children’s entertainers arrived, great fun and an ideal way of keeping the party alive. We added pops of colour to the garden with paper poms and lanterns and vibrant bunting around the stretch tent, a quick and easy transformation for a pop up party that is sure to make an impact.
